Do You Want Rick Back On The Scene On The Bold And The Beautiful?

The character has been around since 1990 but lately, he’s been off-screen. We’re talking about Rick Forrester on The Bold And The Beautiful. Now, fans are speaking out!

The character of Rick has been played by many actors including his TV mom Katherine Kelly Lang’s (Brooke) real-life son, Jeremy Snider! Steven Hartman played the role when Rick was aged. Next came Jacob Young, who’s played the part the longest.

Also, Justin Torkildsen (who won an Emmy for the role) and Kyle Lowder (now Rex on Days Of Our Lives) stepped into Rick’s designer loafers.

The character has been missing in action since last year. His absence has been explained by saying that Rick and Maya (Karla Mosley) have broken up off-camera. Is it time for Rick to return? Soap Hub asked fans to weigh in on this!

The majority of you want Rick (aka Eric, Jr.) back at Forrester! Just under 63% say you want Rick to return. He can be loving to the people he cares about and a formidable foe to those who cross him.

It’d make sense for Rick to return so that he can look after Hope (Annika Noelle), who’s falling under the charms of Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), and re-win Maya’s heart!

The rest of you, almost 38%, say you’re okay with Rick staying off the canvas for now. The show is just too crowded to accommodate more characters right now even one as beloved and key as Rick is!

BB has got plenty of fan favorites like Quinn (Rena Sofer), Eric (John McCook), and a few others on the backburner. They need to have a chance to shine before anyone else returns. If Rick came back right now, he might not get that much screen-time anyway!
