Do You Feel Badly For Steffy On The Bold And The Beautiful?

Steffy Forrester was an innocent in the Baby Beth/Baby Phoebe swap on The Bold And The Beautiful, but she’s the one having to pay the price for the story to come to completion. Is this fair?

The only right thing to do is give Beth back to Hope (Annika Noelle), her birth mother. But this means heartache for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who unknowingly adopted a baby girl that was taken from her true mom!

Steffy still has her natural daughter Kelly (fathered by Liam played by Scott Clifton), money, a great family, and she possesses intelligence, beauty, and charm. Still…she knows that her other daughter really isn’t hers. Soap Hub asked BB fans if they feel sorry for Steffy.

Poor Steffy
The majority of you, nearly 69%, say that Steffy has your sympathy. She’s been an unwitting player in this whole scenario. Her greatest “crime” was in wanting to give Kelly a sibling.

This was logical. Steffy knew the joy of having a sibling, her twin, the late Phoebe (MacKenzie Mauzy). We saw Steffy struggle to raise two little girls, but she never whined about it. She rose to the occasion and loves being a mom.

No Good Deed
The rest of you, over 31%, have no sympathy for Steffy. You feel she and her mom, Taylor (Hunter Tylo), tried to cut through red tape and do a quickie private adoption rather than go through other channels in order to expand the family and give Kelly a little sister. She’s done nothing wrong, but you’re not broken up that Steffy’s heart will be broken over this.

We Are Family
The silver lining in all this is that Kelly and Beth (aka Phoebe) are still related as they both share the same father in Liam. Unless of course, BB pulls a paternity switcheroo and makes Bill (Don Diamont) turn out to be Kelly’s dad. (Even then, they’ll be related.)
