Matthew Atkinson is a versatile actor. Lately, The Bold and the Beautiful fans have seen his character Thomas lamenting his late friend Vinny. But not that long ago, Thomas was quite conniving. There’s nothing the performer can’t play!

I Need A Hero

Atkinson has done superb work as a tortured soul, conniver, and manipulator, but the majority of you, 81%, say that you like to see him as a good guy, a hero. Thomas could have played along with his late pal Vinny’s (Joe LoCicero) scheme and let Liam (Scott Clifton) and everyone else go on thinking that he was the father of Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby. Instead, he stepped up and helped make sure the truth came out even though it closed off a pathway to a reunion with Hope (Annika Noelle).

Bad Boy Appeal

Atkinson’s performance as Thomas teetering on the edge prompted nearly 12% of you to vote that you like to see him with an edge. Soaps are about secrets and it’s fun for the audience to discover them and then sit back and wait for other characters to learn them too! If the writers were to hand Thomas some diabolical scheme, viewers are confident that Atkinson will take the ball and run with it all the way into the endzone.

The Dark Side

The rest of you, 7%, would like to see Thomas go totally off the edge. All soaps need an antagonistic character. In the past, BB has had Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) and others who are on the canvas that stir the pot. Imagine Thomas going rogue, starting up his own fashion house, and becoming a power player whom everyone fears!
