M uch loved “Bold and the Beautiful” star Darin Brooks tweeted about the CBS soaps vying for the title of Best Telenovela/Soap at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. A video of Brooks reaching out to fans accompanied his tweet.
Brooks’ character has had a whole lot of drama to deal with lately, including romancing his brother’s ex, Steffy, (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and dealing with his kidnapper mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer)!
This isn’t B&B’s first time nomination for the European city’s television honors. With all the zaniness taking place on the soap lately, this year may be its best shot ever at winning the prize! Recently, Thomas (Pierson Fode) was revealed as Douglas father. In addition, Quinn continues her valiant if far-fetched attempts to win Liam’s (Scott Clifton) heart and Katie (Heather Tom) veers from jealous wife to contrite sister on a weekly basis.
Merci Beaucoup @festivaltvmc @BandB_CBS is nominated! We’ll be filming, autographs & taking pictures! A bien tot! 🙂 pic.twitter.com/8xkjo12Kah
