Taylor and Ridge’s engagement has left many people unhappy on The Bold and the Beautiful. One person who isn’t pleased is Eric, who’s been adamant about Ridge being with Brooke. Eric’s constant disrespect towards Taylor is unflattering, and it’s time the Forrester patriarch change his attitude.
Showing Love For Taylor
Everyone talks about Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) love story. But he also had an epic love story with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). Tridge’s on-again, off-again relationship has spanned 35 years and three children. The couple endured many ups and downs but always find their way back to each other.
Taylor and Ridge’s latest reunion seems to be permanent this time as Ridge vowed his commitment to his beloved Doc. However, if Eric (John McCook) has his way, Ridge would be reuniting with Brooke instead of Taylor. Eric is Brooke’s biggest supporter and is helping her try to reunite with Ridge. Aside from the showstopper spectacle at the recent Forrester fashion show, Eric constantly reminds Ridge that Brooke is his destiny.
While Eric wants to make Brooke happy, he’s disregarding Taylor’s feelings. Eric has always said family is important, yet he hasn’t shown no love for Taylor. She’s his daughter-in-law and the mother of his grandchildren, so the Forrester patriarch needs to show her more respect.
Father Doesn’t Always Know Best
Eric’s behavior is reminiscent of Stephanie (Susan Flannery). Who could forget her disrespect towards Brooke and all the times she tried to break up Ridge? Eric hated Stephanie’s attitude towards Brooke, and her relationship with Ridge. Now, he’s doing the same thing with Taylor and Ridge.
If Stephanie could find it in her heart to approve of Brooke, then Eric can do the same with Taylor. Because if the Forrester patriarch doesn’t change his tune, he could end up losing his family.
