Carter is single again on Bold and the Beautiful, and like clockwork, someone new is already circling. Enter Daphne Rose. Stunning, stylish, and smooth as silk, she’s clearly got her eye on the prize. And, that prize just happens to be the very handsome, very vulnerable Mr. Walton. With his relationship with Hope fully in the rearview mirror, Carter’s ripe for a new romance, and Daphne? She’s wasting no time.
Flames, Chemistry, and a Whole Lot of Luggage
On paper, they’re a perfect match. She’s bold, brilliant, and beautiful (we see what the show did there), and she’s already proven she can hold her own in LA’s power circles. If anyone could give Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) a fresh start, it’s Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). There’s a spark between them that’s hard to ignore, and fans can’t deny that when they’re in a scene together, the screen practically sizzles.

Can You Trust a Crush That Started With a Con?
Here’s the problem, though, Daphne didn’t exactly show up with pure intentions. Her arrival in Los Angeles had more to do with revenge than romance. And while she’s shifted her attention from crushing Carter’s reputation to crushing on Carter himself, can she look him in the eye every day, knowing this was all built on a lie and a scheme? Eventually, the truth will come out, and she’ll have some serious explaining to do.

Carter’s been burned before. He’s got a history of giving too much too fast, only to end up hurt. If Daphne Rose is just a rebound or – worse – if her feelings aren’t real, this is a heartbreak waiting to happen. The last thing he needs is another woman with a hidden agenda, even if she does look like she stepped off the cover of a fashion magazine.
So what’s next? Should Carter take the leap and give Daphne Rose a chance? Or is this just another crash-and-burn waiting to unfold?
