B&B fans suspect Jack might not be Finn’s biological father.
The Bold and the Beautiful has written many paternity storylines. Currently, the show is focused on the search for Luna’s father. But that storyline could lead to a shocking twist.
Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity is the show’s main focus right now. A year after the story began, the writers are finally making the big reveal. Although Jack (Ted King) was the number one candidate, a recent DNA test proved he wasn’t Luna’s dad. However, it turns out Jack’s son, Finn (Tanner Novlan), is a candidate to be the young woman’s father.
B&B has dropped some hints that Finn could be the dad. Now, with Finn and Poppy’s (Romy Park) admission that they were intimate, it sure seems he fathered Luna even though Poppy denied it…again.
The storyline has left fans with many emotions, including confusion. One thing that doesn’t make sense is why there was no familial connection in Jack and Luna’s DNA test. Jack is Finn’s biological dad, and possibly Luna’s grandfather, there should’ve been some match. Yet, nothing. This has sparked a fan theory on Reddit that Jack isn’t Finn’s dad.
”Seriously. There would be some familial DNA between Jack and Luna if he is indeed Finn’s bio dad,” one fan wrote.
One commenter suggested, “Sheila is a psycho manipulator so she could have lied to Jack that he’s the dad and he just believed her.”
However, one fan was skeptical. “From what I am remembering I think Jack said he had a DNA test done on Finn when he was small to make sure.”
Another user replied, “Which Sheila would totally alter LOL. I think that was a storyline she did once or twice on Y&R.”

Finn was born due to Jack and Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) affair. For decades, Jack kept his affair and Finn’s adoption a secret. It wasn’t until Sheila came to town in 2021 that he finally confessed the truth.
However, given Sheila’s history of manipulation, there’s a possibility she lied to Jack. When Sheila becomes obsessed with someone, she’ll do anything to become involved in their lives. Sheila will be a big part of the Luna paternity and Finn and Poppy affair drama. Of course, she’ll cause more chaos, especially if it turns out Jack isn’t Finn’s dad.
