The Bold and the Beautiful knows how to bring the drama and February 10 – 14 was no exception. Finn’s secret weighed heavily on his shoulders and Carter’s guilt ate away at him until he finally broke.
Silence Isn’t Golden
Our blood was boiling on Monday when Finn decided to keep mum on being a girl dad. Okay, sure, we get that it was also his wedding anniversary, and he didn’t want to blow up his marriage on such a special day, but that delay is going to cost him, and we all know it. Adding to that is on Tuesday, we didn’t stop Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from walking out the door. How could he let her go about her day knowing what he knows? Icky, Finn. Just straight up icky.

Brooke Said What She Said!
We have to hand it to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). She dug in her heels and gave Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) some serious food for thought on Thursday. She overheard Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) appeal to Carter’s morals and jumped right in and tried to get him to open his heart. Sure, he’s a big shot in the design world now. Yes, he’s a great businessman who is determined to make Forrester Creations a global luxury brand. But at what cost? Carter may have Forrester and Hope (Annika Noelle), but he’s quickly losing everything else he used to hold dear.
Carter’s Ultimate Meltdown
We finally got the moment we’ve all been waiting for on Friday when Carter’s guilt got the best of him. Not only was HE ready to apologize and beg for forgiveness, but he all but demanded Hope (Annika Noelle) do the same. As you can expect, she went ballistic and refused to even consider backing down, leaving Carter to throw a fit as he struggled with his broken loyalty to Ridge and his love for his woman. He sat on the desk, bloody and emotionally battered, and had himself a good cry. And, in true soap fashion, Ridge showed up and with one line, destroyed Carter’s sense of self. “Heavy is the head that wears the crown, huh Carter.” That said it all!
