In the July 27 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy learned that she no longer had control over Hope, her longtime enemy. Hope was free to make her own decisions, and she chose to stand with the Spencers.

Key Takeaways

  • Steffy confronts Hope once again at Logan.
  • Hope reminds Steffy that she can no longer control her career.
  • Steffy realizes she has lost an ongoing feud that has raged for decades.

Steffy Blames Hope For Forrester-Spencer War

Hope (Annika Noelle) enjoyed a quiet day at the office. Well, it was quiet until Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) walked in. Steffy wanted Hope to admit that what she did was wrong. She blamed Hope for starting the Forrester-Spencer war, even though the Forresters claimed Katie (Heather Tom) was to blame.

Hope reminded Steffy that their families have been feuding for a long time. Even these two ladies have been caught up in an ongoing feud, stemming from Liam’s (Scott Clifton) shared interest in them. Steffy argued that she wasn’t there to attack Hope. She was just upset that Hope left Forrester Creations.

She didn’t like that Hope didn’t give her a heads-up. Steffy said that Hope deceived everyone.

Hope Finally Stands Up to Steffy

Hope didn’t understand why Steffy showed up at Logan to berate her. She didn’t have to answer to Steffy Forrester anymore, and it was freeing. That’s one of the reasons why Hope left Forrester Creations. Steffy argued that Hope was thinking with her ego.

Hope reminded Steffy that she could leave if she wanted to. Steffy believed Hope had been sticking it to her all this time, and that’s probably why she asked whether she was valued. She felt that Hope was planning this all along.

Steffy Lost the Fight, But Can She Let it Go?

Steffy reminded Hope that she already had a line with a budget to do whatever she wanted. Hope argued that her word meant nothing. She was pushed aside for months. Deep down, Hope knew she could no longer trust Steffy.

Steffy argued that Hope wanted it her way, and the Spencers took advantage of the situation. She believed that the Spencers took advantage of Hope, too. But Hope noted that Steffy was never her advocate. Hope maintained that she’s chosen her path.

Steffy asked Hope if she was proud of herself now. Hope said that Steffy could call her any name in the book, but she’s exactly where she wanted to be— away from Steffy’s control.

In that moment, Steffy realized she had lost a fight she had been in with Hope for decades. Will Steffy finally admit to defeat? Or will she find a new way to lash out at Hope?
