Shocking Bold and the Beautiful Fan Theory: Li Is Luna’s Mother

Luna’s paternity is one of the biggest mysteries on The Bold and the Beautiful. Recently, the storyline has been given much attention as Li searches for her niece’s father. However, if a fan theory proves to be true, it’ll add more twists to Luna’s parentage.

Who’s The Mama?

Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity storyline has been filled with one twist after another. Everyone from Bill (Don Diamont) to Tom (Clint Howard) to Jack (Ted King) was considered to be her dad. Finn (Tanner Novlan) is also a possible candidate. Yet, there’s still no definitive answer on who the dad is.

Luna’s parentage is a topic of discussion among B&B fans. While many are focused on her paternity, some people are questioning her maternity. On X, theories have circulated that Li (Naomi Matsuda), not Poppy (Romy Park), is Luna’s mother.

One commenter speculated, “Imagine if the twist is that Li is actually Luna’s bio mother lol. Like let’s say it was with her eggs or something.”

Another fan suggested, “What if this is more about the maternity than the paternity. I did say last year that what if Li is actually Luna’s mother and Pop actually took her while Li was sedated or something. Knowing Bell, he’ll rewrite and have Li cheating to get back at Jack.”

Is There Any Truth To The Theory?

While Li being Luna’s mother is far-fetched, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.

During a recent talk with Bill (Don Diamont), Luna talked about inheriting traits from parents. She mentioned she’s ambitious and wondered who she got it from. Li is known to be ambitious, and like Luna, she’s also quick-tempered.

Luna’s tough childhood and Poppy’s lies have caused their relationship to become contentious. Aside from Bill, Li is the only person who shows care and concern for Luna. In some ways, Li is more of a mother to Luna than Poppy.

When Li and Jack were married, they tried to have a child of their own before adopting Finn. It’s a possibility, Li could’ve frozen her eggs, and later Poppy stole them to have Luna. If Li is Luna’s mother, it would be a huge B&B twist.

The revelation would shatter Li and Poppy’s sisterly bond and drive a bigger wedge between Poppy and Luna. But the big question is, would Li and Luna be ready to accept their newfound relationship?
