History has a funny way of repeating itself on The Bold and the Beautiful, and this time, it’s Taylor who’s caught in the same exhausting cycle. Let’s be real: Ridge is bad news for Taylor, and it’s time someone said it out loud.
Taylor has spent years dreaming of rekindling her romance with Ridge. And now, faster than you can say “destiny,” Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has left Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) sobbing in his rearview mirror and is cozying up to Taylor. It’s a whirlwind, it’s dramatic, and it’s doomed. Why? Because Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) falling for the same old Ridge tricks.

Despite being a brilliant, accomplished woman, Taylor’s heart seems to have a blind spot the size of Ridge’s ego. Time and time again, Ridge has proven he’s not capable of prioritizing her. He’s the king of mixed signals, and Taylor deserves a partner who’s all in—not someone who treats her like a backup plan.
Let’s face it, Ridge only loves one person – Ridge. He’s addicted to the drama, the chase, and the thrill of keeping two women perpetually on edge. When he’s not with Brooke, he’s with Taylor. And when he’s with Taylor, he’s thinking about Brooke. This man doesn’t have a divided heart, he has a revolving door.
Taylor deserves someone who sees her as the one and only, not the one for now. Ridge will never be that man. He’ll give her a few fleeting moments of happiness—just enough to keep her hooked—but as soon as Brooke waves her hand, he’ll sprint right back.
Here’s how this will play out – Ridge will use Brooke’s latest “betrayal” to justify diving headfirst into Taylor’s arms. He’ll sweet-talk her, reunite the family, and make her believe they’re finally building a future together. But the second Brooke makes a power move and saves Forrester Creations, Ridge will be gone. Taylor will be left shattered yet again.
Enough is enough. Taylor deserves a man who’s worthy of her love, and Ridge is not that man. It’s time for Taylor and Brooke, for that matter, to cut him off for good. Ridge needs to figure out what (or who) he truly wants, and until he does, he shouldn’t get to toy with anyone’s heart.
This love triangle has run its course. Taylor and Brooke deserve better than being pawns in Ridge’s never-ending ego game. It’s time for them to shut him down and move on—once and for all.
