Steffy is trying to get to the heart of the matter on The Bold and the Beautiful. She hatched a plan involving Daphne Rose. At first, it seemed like a seductive plan, but there’s more to it than just a fun roll in the hay.
Paging Daphne Rose
Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) wasn’t giving up without a fight. She found the perfect way to distract Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). She used her good friend Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) to seduce him. Steffy only hires the best to help her. She knows that her friend would do anything for her and vice-versa.
Plus, Daphne is the perfect woman to seduce Carter. All the men and women around the world want the chance to be with her. No one would ever turn her down. Carter should feel lucky to have such a beautiful French woman after him. Once the seduction takes place, Steffy would snatch the company when he’s not looking. However, it seems there’s more to her plan than it seems.

The Real Reason
At first, there were questions about this plan. It didn’t seem like Steffy didn’t think it through. She didn’t explain how she would end up stealing the company away from Carter, which made us wonder if this plan had a flaw. (Read more about the flaw in Steffy’s plan.) But now it’s becoming more clear. Steffy revealed the core meaning of her plan.
She wanted to get to Carter’s conscience. She still believes that Hope (Annika Noelle) is to blame. Because of her, Carter hasn’t been acting like himself lately. It’s like he flipped a switch overnight. Steffy hopes that Daphne will get Carter to let his guard down around her. Daphne has that special touch that’s needed.
But will it work? Up to this point, Carter seems confident about his decision. He even argued with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that he had to save Forrester Creations. He believes the company needs to be brought into a new direction. Maybe it’s time for the man in charge to be humbled after all.
