The Bold and the Beautiful cast had interesting storylines last year. From a popular couple’s breakup to the creation of a new villain, these actors and actresses delivered memorable performances. With the 2025 Daytime Emmy nominations being announced on July 10th, these stars could have their names called.
Lisa Yamada
There’s no denying that Lisa Yamada was B&B’s breakout star of 2024. Fans watched in shock as Luna transformed from a good girl to the show’s next villain. Yamada easily slipped into her new bad girl role as Luna’s path of destruction included murder and kidnapping. The actress was a hit with fan and critics, and it wouldn’t be surprising if she’s an Emmy nominee this year.

Romy Park
Luna’s villainous arc wouldn’t be complete without her mother Poppy (Romy Park) and the incredible performance from Park. Poppy was put through the wringer this when she faced prison for murders she didn’t commit. Park did a great job of delving into Poppy’s strength and fears as she faced an uncertain future. But her standout performance came when Poppy discovered the truth about Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) murders.
Poppy was excited to be released and reunited with Luna, however, her joy was crushed by Luna’s confession. In a matter of minutes Park went from happiness to shock to tears as Poppy learned her daughter was a murderer. It was a heartbreaking scene that had fans feeling sympathy for the mom. Although it’s a longshot, Park could sneak in and score a nomination this year.
Matthew Atkinson
Although Matthew Atkinson and his character Thomas have left B&B, they went giving an emotional performance. The reformed bad boy thought he had finally found happiness with girl of his dreams, Hope (Annika Noelle). When he wanted to make things official, Thomas was left crushed when Hope rejected his proposal. Atkinson perfectly captured Thomas’ pain over Hope’s rejection and the realization that maybe they weren’t meant to be.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Thomas made the heartbreaking decision to end their relationship and leave town. Atkinson has given amazing performances in the past but is always overlooked by the Daytime Emmys. But 2025 could be the year where he finally scores a nomination.
Annika Noelle
The writing for Hope was all over the place this past year on B&B. She went from breaking up with Thomas to flirting with Finn (Tanner Novlan) to planning a business coup with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). No matter what the storyline called for, Noelle delivered with her performances.
Whether she was crying over Thomas or delving her vixen side as Hope sought revenge Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Noelle understood her assignment. The actress is a previous Daytime Emmy nominee, and she should find herself with another nomination this year.
