Jacqueline MacInnes Wood surprised her fans yesterday that she’s expecting baby #5 in a few short months. We have to wonder what sort of storyline Bold and the Beautiful will use to explain Steffy’s absence. We have a few ideas on how they could take the superstar off canvas.
Snatch & Grab
With Luna (Lisa Yamada) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) walking free – and getting to know each other – it seems the obvious solution to B&B’s dilemma is a kidnapping. Sheila and her newfound diabolical granddaughter could definitely twist this tale and take control. Imagine the chaos they could cause by breaking into the Cliff House and stealing Steffy away from Finn (Tanner Novlan) and the children and staging it to look like she left him.
Then, of course, they would step in to help with the children and comfort Finn while he grieves his marriage. Oh sure, he’ll have his suspicions about where his wife really is, but with these two whispering in his ear, surely they can convince him that nothing nefarious is going on.

Off to Paris
Another good solution would be for Steffy to pack up the children and take flight to Paris. She could take some downtime from Finn’s family drama and spend it some quality time with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), Paris (Diamond White), and Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri). A few weeks overseas could put things into perspective for her and it would give Finn the time he needs to sort out who he wants in his life.
Prison Blues
Our last and most dramatic and drastic option is for Steffy to end up behind bars. What if she finds Luna and Sheila getting close and goes feral and winds up hurting one (or both) of them? That would be bad. And, those women would have no problem pressing charges just so they could laugh in Steffy’s face while she’s carted away in cuffs.
Poor Steffy would spends weeks locked up away from her children while Finn fights for her freedom while also fighting his instinct to be a father to Luna and a son to Sheila. He would suffer a crisis of conscious and by the time Steffy finally gets to come home, her world and their marriage, could change forever.
