Liam received his miracle cure on The Bold and the Beautiful. An experimental surgery removed his brain tumor and gave him a new lease on life. As Liam looks toward the future, he might find himself falling for his ex-wife, Ivy.
Second Chances
After months of being kept secret, Liam’s (Scott Clifton) brain tumor diagnosis was finally revealed. As news of Liam’s condition spread, everyone expressed their sympathies. One person who was saddened by the news was Liam’s ex-wife Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer).
On the July 21st episode, Ivy opened up to Electra (Laneya Grace) about her past with Liam. It’s obvious Ivy still loves Liam, and she wishes their relationship didn’t end so soon. But all might not be lost with the former couple. Now that Liam’s been cured thanks to surgery, he’s got a second chance at life. And that could include a second chance with Ivy.
Liam and Ivy haven’t had much interaction since her return, but that will soon change. Ivy will visit a newly cured Liam and spark the beginning of a Livy reunion. Ivy will bring up their relationship which is bound to bring back memories for Liam. He and Ivy had good times together before he broke her heart.
Unrequited Love?
Ivy’s made it clear she still carries a torch for Liam. Although Liam’s showed no interest in her that might change after her visit. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope (Annika Noelle) have moved on and it’s time he did the same. With Ivy now by his side, Liam will feel that he should give their relationship another shot.
While Ivy will be thrilled at reuniting with Liam, Steffy and Hope won’t be. The two women have become protective of Liam throughout his diagnosis. With Ivy worming her way back into Liam’s life, Steffy and Hope will believe she’s taking advantage of him.
