The Bold and the Beautiful characters are choosing sides in the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor love triangle. Thomas is supportive of Taylor and Ridge getting back together, much to Katie and Eric’s dismay. Katie and Eric’s behavior has angered many fans, who are labeling the two as hypocrites.

Ever since Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) returned, he’s been championing for Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) reunion. However, his support for Tridge is being met with criticism by Katie (Heather Tom) and Eric (John McCook).
Katie and Eric think Thomas should stay out of his parents’ relationship and let Ridge make his own decision. But Katie and Eric aren’t following their own advice.
The two are huge Bridge supporters and have been vocal about Ridge’s need to reunite with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Eric has been encouraging his son to dump Taylor and be with his true destiny.
Katie and Eric’s behavior has riled up B&B fans, who called out the pair on X.
“So, it’s ok for Eric & Katie especially Brooke guilt and pressure Ridge, but Thomas can’t speak the truth,” wrote one viewer.
“Eric is even more pathetic than Katie for justifying that Thomas is an adult and has a child and shouldn’t put pressure on Ridge. Eric is a hypocrite as he is a 70-year-old man matchmaker for his son,” one fan ranted.
It looks like Katie and Eric’s work has paid off since Ridge dumped Taylor to be with Brooke. The two will gloat at the fact that Brooke won and Bridge has finally reunited. But Katie, Eric, and other family members should watch their behavior in front of Thomas.
He’s going to be upset and furious at Tridge’s broken engagement, and there’s no telling what he’ll do next.
