When it comes to forgiveness on Bold and the Beautiful , the bar is hilariously low. From blackmailers to baby snatchers, the streets of Los Angeles are paved with second (and third and fourth) chances. So why should Finn’s daughter, Luna, be the exception? Sure, she made some…dramatic choices – like drugging Steffy, kidnapping her, and killing two men along the way. But let’s not pretend she’s the first Forrester-adjacent villain with a body count.

Redemption Is a Family Affair

Finn (Tanner Novlan), the ever-noble doctor with a bleeding heart, is in a unique position. He can either follow the expected path of outrage and rejection, or he can surprise us all and open his door – and his heart – to his wayward daughter. It may not be popular, but it just might be smart. After all, Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) been cast out, and when people feel like they have nothing left to lose, that’s when things get dangerous.

Let’s look at the pattern here: Deacon (Sean Kanan), Quinn (Rena Sofer), Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), and even Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) herself have all done the unthinkable and managed to land back in the good graces of their loved ones. It’s not that Luna deserves a free pass, but maybe she deserves a playbook. One heartfelt dinner, a tearful apology, and a show of remorse could flip this entire story upside down.

Keep Your Enemies Close

Plus, let’s be strategic for a second. Welcoming Luna back into the fold could literally save lives. If she’s cuddling up on the couch with Finn and Steffy, she’s not hiding in the shadows plotting a violent takedown. She might even put down that gun and pick up a smoothie. There’s something to be said for peacekeeping through parenting.

At the end of the day, family is messy. But that’s never stopped anyone on B&B from standing by their own. If Finn truly wants to break the cycle, protect Steffy, and keep Luna from slipping even further into the darkness, he should do the unexpected – reach out and let her in. Because sometimes, the best way to stop a villain…is to love them before they fully become one.
