Little Eric Comes Home
Deke (Harrison Cone) is drawing a lot of interest. Him being Remy’s (Christian Weissman) boyfriend and making them B&B’s first gay male couple is a big, groundbreaking story. Fans can’t wait to see the newcomer and learn more about Deke’s background.
From the details given so far, Deke is an aspiring fashion designer who is related to another character. Speculation is already beginning about who Deke is related to. One theory is that he could be Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) son, Little Eric.
Little Eric is the son of Deacon and the late Becky Moore (Marissa Tait). When he was an infant, Becky’s cousin Amber (Adrienne Frantz) took him and tried to pass him off as her and Rick’s (Jacob Young) baby. Amber’s scheme was later exposed, but after Becky’s death, Amber and Rick reunited to raise Little Eric. However, Deacon’s arrival set off a long and heated custody battle.
Deacon eventually gains custody of Little Eric, devastating Amber. But Amber is later reunited with Little Eric after Deacon is arrested for kidnapping and fraud.
It’s been 15 years since Little Eric was last seen. But he could be making his comeback now under the name of Deke.
Family Reunion
B&B fans have been wanting Deacon’s son to return for some time. If Deke is Little Eric, then it opens up a new storyline for Deacon. The restaurateur will be shocked, yet happy to see his son. However, Deke might not be thrilled to see his dad.
In recent years, Deacon’s main focus has been on Hope (Annika Noelle). He hasn’t once mentioned Little Eric, which indicates the father and son might have a strained relationship. Deke’s return will open up a chance for him and Deacon to reunite. Yet, things will be complicated when Deke shows resentment towards Hope and Deacon’s wife, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Things will heat up more if Deke’s mother, Amber, returns to cause trouble for Deacon and Sheila.
