We here at Soap Hub are never shy when it comes to playing armchair headwriter – look no further than our near weekly ‘Wild Speculation’ articles for proof – and with 2024 fast approaching, a few of us couldn’t help but theorize what might be on the story horizon.

We were equally curious to see what you’d most like to happen to, or suspect is in store for your favorite – and perhaps least favorite — The Bold and the Beautiful characters. To all those who participated, I sincerely thank you.

Below you’ll find a roundup of predictions/wishes submitted by fans and Soap Hub staff alike, including yours truly. Happy reading.

The Bold and the Beautiful — 2024 Predictions

A new fashion model finds Thomas irresistible and the attraction is mutual. When Hope finds the two in bed together, she pursues Ridge. — Jane Moore.

New couplings: Finn and Bridget and Zende and Luna. * RJ goes down the same dark path that Thomas traversed. * Thomas and Hope marry and have a child. * Deacon sleeps with Poppy and the news drives Li to team up with Sheila to rid themselves of her. — Crystal Lawson.

Hope becomes pregnant. * Luna is revealed to be Bill’s daughter. * Steffy ends up with Carter. — Synova Renee Campbell

Zende come between Luna & RJ.  — Michelle O. Brown

A tabulating error reveals that Eric – not Ridge – won the fashion showdown. * Rick, Kristen, and Felicia return from their African Safari demanding to know why they weren’t notified of Eric’s illness. * A rival design house gives Forrester Creations a run for its money. * Esther Valentine returns to Los Angeles to visit Charlie. Pam and Esther face off (watch the actresses go in character to do that on the red carpet here). — Michael Maloney, Soap Hub’s West Coast Editor

Liam attempts to destroy Steffy’s marriage by telling Finn about the times he kissed her. The plan backfires, though, when Finn hears Steffy’s side and is understanding. * Donna and Ridge have a one-night affair that ends in a very surprise pregnancy. — Amber Sinclair, Editor at Soap Hub

Manwhore Bill will somehow have fathered Luna and have yet another child he never raised. — Diane Brounstein, Soap Hub’s Editor-In-Chief

HERE, HERE: Hopefully, there will be NEW storylines instead of recycling the same ones from the past 36 years! — Carla Becerril

A Critic’s Predictions For The Bold and the Beautiful

Xander (Adain Bradley) gaslights Thomas into believing that Emma is haunting him leading to Thomas’s confessing the role he played in the young woman’s death and outing the fact that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was very much aware of said role — and all during Ridge and Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) engagement party. An aghast Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) distances herself from her fiancé and finds comfort (and perhaps a whole lot more) in her long talks with ex-hubby Eric (John McCook).

With a baby on the way and her betrothed consigned to a mental health clinic, Hope (Annika Noelle) finds herself at a loss. Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton), finally assured that there is no hope whatsoever of reuniting with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), seriously considers stepping up for his former spouse by marrying her and assuming responsibility for her babe.

The revelation that Luna (Lisa Yamada) is his daughter prompts Bill (Don Diamont) to forge a relationship with her and reconnect with (and make amends to) Poppy (Romy Park). While it makes perfect sense that Li (Naomi Matsuda) would be bent out of shape by the turn of events, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will be unable to justify Katie’s (Heather Tom) visceral reaction.
