It’s time for another crossover. Hunter King is set to pop up as The Young and the Restless’ Summer Newman. She’ll arrive in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 12. The actress will share scenes with Don Diamont’s Bill, Darin Brooks’ Wyatt, and Katrina Bowden’s Flo, as Summer attempts to dig up information on Sally Spectra. Courtney Hope has played Sally on both soaps.
Joe LoCicero is back for another episode as Vinny Walker. Look for Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) longtime pal to air on Thursday, January 14. LoCicero made his last appearance on the soap in September of 2020.
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
