Who’s coming and who’s going from The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well-remembered stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join Days of our Lives fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of July 27, 2020
Jeremy Ray Valdez is back as Detective Alex Sanchez when he arrives to investigate Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) motorcycle accident. He’ll air on Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28. Valdez made his last appearance on the soap as everyone’s favorite detective back in September of 2019.
We all know the accident was truly an accident, but will Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) push for more since Bill (Don Diamont) is the one who ran his daughter down. Bill is truly remorseful, but these two are mortal enemies so anything can happen.
Lisa Canning turns up at the local hospital as Dr. Joyce Griffith on both Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30.
Monica Ruiz continues her stint as Dr. Penny Escobar, Sally’s (Courtney Hope) cohort in crime, on Monday, July 27, Tuesday, July 28, Wednesday, 29 and Friday, July 30.
Will Penny finally have enough of Sally’s machinations and tell Wyatt (Darin Brooks) the truth? Will she also make sure that Flo (Katrina Bowden) is freed. Wyatt seems to be catching on to what’s happening, but Penny can confirm it all. Now that BB is back, it looks like we can finally start resolving this storyline.
Please note that air dates may be subject to change. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
