Who’s coming and who’s going from the casts of The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Days of our Lives (DAYS), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR)? Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas.

Soap Opera Casting For The Week Of November 8, 2021

Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day player roles.

Days of our Lives

It’s a dream come true for A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys when he pops up on Days of our Lives, this week. He’s been tapped to play a driver on the soap that he grew up watching with his grandmother.

Meanwhile, Blake Berris, Vincent Irizarry, and Mike Manning wrapped up their appearances as the undead Nick, Deimos, and Charlie. The dastardly trio returned to their graves, after their stints in the soap’s special Halloween episodes.

The Bold and the Beautiful

Another Big Brother contestant is about to air on The Bold and the Beautiful. Xavier Prather, who was the reality show’s Season 23 winner, will play James, a Forrester executive, on Monday, November 8, and Wednesday, November 10.

The newest model on The Price is Right, Alexis Gaube, will be making a guest spot on the soap opera. She’ll portray Forrester Creations model Petra on Thursday, November 11.

Henry Joseph Samiri pops back in as Thomas’ (Matthew Atkinson) adorable son, Douglas on Tuesday, November 9, while Ted King returns as Finn’s dad, Jack Finnegan, on Friday, November 12.

General Hospital

Over at General Hospital, one of the five families’ bosses is back on the scene. Lydia Look returns as Mrs. Wu, this week, and will interact with Maurice Benard’s Sonny.

After a long absence, Artie O’Daly resurfaces as Kip Morris. The character last appeared as a Metro Court bartender and aspiring actor in 2019, when Julian (William deVry) hired him to stir up trouble between Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (then played by Ryan Carnes).

GH director Phideaux Xavier is set to make a special onscreen appearance on Thursday, November 11. He’ll turn up as a singer at Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) club, The Savoy.

B&B is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives (DOOL), General Hospital (GH), and The Young and the Restless (YR). The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
