Who’s coming and who’s going from the soap opera casts of The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless?
Here’s a list of the top exit and entrance news from all four daytime dramas. Find out if any of your favorite performers from yesteryear are returning to the shows you follow, or if any new actors or actresses have been cast in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.
Roger Howarth has wrapped up his run on GH after 11 years and three roles – Todd Manning, Franco Baldwin, and Austin Gatlin-Holt. The soap chose not to renew the actor’s contract. Hence, Austin’s murder was scripted, after he considered turning in mob boss Cyrus Renault (Jeffrey Kober).
Ellen Travolta’s guest stint as Gloria Cerullo continues on Monday, November 27. She’ll interact with her TV daughter, Rena Sofer’s Lois.
That was Barry Livingston playing the coroner at the morgue, last week. He shared scenes with Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante and Josh Swickard’s Chase. He’s most known for having played Ernie on My Three Sons.
After a quick appearance as Claire’s (Hayley Erin) Aunt Jordan last week on Y&R, Colleen Zenk officially begins her terror run as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and the Newman family’s worst nightmare on Monday, November 27. Zenk is best remembered for her portrayal of Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns from 1978 to 2010.
Meanwhile, J. Eddie Peck continues his run as Cole Howard, Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) ex-husband. Peck last appeared on the show in 1999, when Cole moved to England to become a professor at Oxford.
Justiin Davis returns to B&B as Dr. Colin Colby on Wednesday, November 29. The specialist will be called upon to treat the terminally ill Eric (John McCook).
There’s a new fashion model in the Forrester Creations house. Hayeong Jang portrays Lilah on Tuesday, November 28.
David S. Lee’s run as Clyde’s (James Read) henchman, Gil Carter, has wrapped up on DAYS. His character was shot to death by Tamara Braun’s Ava, after attempting to sexually assault her. Lee debuted on the soap in October.
