It’s rare for Eric Forrester to be without an attractive, dynamic woman on his arm. He has invited Shauna Fulton to stay in his guest house on The Bold and the Beautiful. Could this friendly relationship turn romantic and passionate?

“Quinning”

Eric and his son Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have fallen in love with the same woman in the past. First, there was Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), who married Eric after Ridge dumped her. More recently, Quinn (Rena Sofer), before she wed Eric, found herself drawn to Ridge. In fact, they shared a kiss that delayed Ridge and Brooke from getting to the altar. So, yes, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Eric and Shauna will be a love match.

But, nearly 65% of you think that’s not going to happen. Why? Shauna does not want to betray her pal Quinn who is still desperately in love with her husband. Eric’s not so in love with Quinn these days, but Shauna appears to be sticking by her pal!

Picture Perfect

The rest of you, over 35%, are on board for an Eric/Shauna pairing — despite them not having a suitable “smush” name. (Erana? Sheric?) Even Quinn herself wants her pal to have the best of everything: a man who loves her, financial security, happiness. Who better to provide those things for Shauna than Eric? It would be great drama for Quinn to walk into the Forrester mansion one day and see Shauna’s portrait over the fireplace. Then, Brooke would get a respite from Quinn’s wrath. Quinn would set her sights on Shauna. Yikes!

The Single Man

Perhaps Eric won’t rush into another relationship. He could spend his time getting more involved at Forrester Creations and/or his daughters Kristen (Tracy Melchior) and Felicia (Lesli Kay) could come back for a visit. As for the coveted space over the fireplace, if he officially splits from Quinn, Eric may take her portrait down and put in its place the picture of his first wife, the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery).
