The Bold and the Beautiful’s Don Diamont: Five Fast Facts

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ince 2009, Don Diamont has been thrilling “Bold and the Beautiful” fans with his sexy portrayal of Bill Spencer Jr. However, the actor has been pleasing soap fans in general for a lot longer than that.

Born Donald Feinberg in New York City, the actor first came daytime fame with a small role on “Days of Our Lives,” Carlo Forenza. But, his star really took off when he debuted as pool boy Brad Carlton on “The Young and the Restless”. Learn what else you may not know about Don Diamont.

When he began his career as a model, he took his mother’s maiden name as his last name. Years later, he was the first actor from daytime to be chosen by People magazine as one of the “50 Most Beautiful People” in the world.

After his first role on DAYS, Diamont started booking primetime shows like “The Fall Guy,” “Burke’s Law,” and “Diagnosis Murder.” He also appeared on “Baywatch.” In 1998, he had the title role in the movie, “The Incredible Adventures of Marco Polo on His Journeys to the Ends of the Earth.” Jack Palance also starred in the film.

In 1994, Diamont starred in the movie, “A Low Down Dirty Shame,” which starred funnyman Keenan Ivory Wayans and actress Jada Pinkett Smith. He played Chad in the film about a detective who becomes involved in a dangerous mystery.

Diamont is involved with a variety of charities, but his focus is Multiple Sclerosis. This cause became near and dear to his heart when his niece, Alyssa, was diagnosed with the disease. In fact, he received the Ambassador of the Year Award in recognition of his efforts on behalf of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2001.

Diamont has six sons – two of whom are twins – and was himself the youngest of four kids. He is also good friends with baseball Hall-of-Fame shortstop Cal Ripkin, Jr. of the Baltimore Orioles. A sports enthusiast, his hobbies include basketball and cycling.
