Are Thomas and Sally Headed for Romance?

Thomas (Pierson Fodé) and Sally have now run into each other — twice! That’s plenty of time for The Bold and the Beautiful viewers to connect the dots and start figuring out couple names for them. Tally? Samas? Stolly? But do you actually want to see the Forrester and Spectra scions together romantically? Almost 3,000 fans were very clear in their answers.

New Blood
It got pretty incestuous in Los Angeles, with both Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Bill (Don Diamont) juggling Logan sisters, Brooke (years ago) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) vacillating between brothers, and Quinn (Rena Sofer) marrying the father, then lusting after the son. Even when a new family showed up in town, sisters Nicole (Reign Edwards) and Sasha (Felisha Cooper) still ended up fighting over the same guy, Zende (Rome Flynn).

Fresh blood was definitely in order, and the Spectras have always been a breath of fresh air. Probably why 70% of you have given an enthusiastic thumbs up to a Thomas/Sally (Courtney Hope) pairing. Just as long as neither one of them suddenly gets a competitive sibling….

Stick With Your Own Kind
Spectras and Forresters don’t mix. Eric’s (John McCook) son, Thorne, married Sally’s daughter, Macy, and she died — twice! Then Thorne married Sally’s assistant/surrogate daughter, Darla. And she died. Then Thorne and Darla’s daughter, conceived while he was still with Macy and named after Macy, Ally (Alexandria, after Macy Alexander), died.

That is not a good track record. So 19% of you are against a Sally/Thomas pairing. For health reasons.

Some People Go Both Ways
But maybe not all Forrester/Spectra couplings have to end in tragedy. And Sally was nothing if not a survivor. (The fact that the character survives actress Darlene Conley’s passing is testament to that.) It seems 12% of you are unsure about this pairing, but are willing to keep an open mind….
