The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers (BB) for Monday, July 17 continue Quinn’s worries about Eric after learning that he is spending time with Sheila, and Steffy finally learning that Ridge is the reason for the current rift in the Forrester family.
Daddy’s Dumbness
When Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) heard from Quinn (Rena Sofer) about Eric’s (John McCook) disappearance, she figured she knew who caused this latest family crisis. Sheila. So, just to be safe, Steffy shot her.
That’s going to hurt…. Sheila in the short run, and Steffy in the long.
But Liam (Scott Clifton) also suggested Quinn might be responsible for Eric’s withdrawal. It has to ultimately be Quinn. It’s always Quinn.
Well, unless it’s Sally (Courtney Hope). Lots of things are Sally’s fault, too. But it’s hard to connect her to Eric directly, so it’ll have to be Quinn for now.
And she’s right. Partially. But Quinn didn’t cause this particular problem alone. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was involved. Super-involved. As in 50% of the involvement. More, if you consider he deliberately went after Quinn in order to discredit her in Eric’s eyes.
Well now, it’s Steffy’s eyes that Ridge needs to worry about. She could have dismissed her father cheating on Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Steffy doesn’t give a damn about Brooke.
She could have even gotten over an affair with Quinn. It’s hardly Ridge’s first affair with an inappropriate woman.
But Ridge betraying his dad…. How is Steffy going to white-wash that?
Not to mention what should really be an attempted-murder charge for her, too.

Quinn knows that Eric is with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). So she’s worrying about it. She calls people and she grills them and she worries. Not the definition of productivity.
If Quinn really wants to get Eric back, she has to be more proactive.
Oh, and get rid of Ridge.
As long as Quinn told Ridge that she loves him — and she still feels that way — getting Eric back is only part of her problem.
Even if she and Eric reunite, can she swear Ridge is out of her head for good?
