The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers (BB) for Wednesday, August 9 are all about truth or dare, as Carter reveals the secret that Eric had been keeping about Quinn, and Liam learns interesting information about his own family from Sally.

Bill (Don Diamont) told Thomas (Pierson Fodé) that Caroline (Linsay Godfrey) is dying.

Caroline is not dying, but she is going along with the story because Bill assures her it will bring Thomas running. (Better than a milkshake in a yard, any day of the week.)

Bill expected Thomas to drop Sally (Courtney Hope) like a hot potato. A hot potato without an explanation. But Thomas went ahead and told Sally everything. Sally was horrified. And sympathetic. (And probably also a whole lot relieved.)

Sally assumed Caroline’s cousin, Liam (Scott Clifton), knew all about it. Liam knew nothing about it.

But now he does.

Will he spill the beans about what’s really going on? Will Bill let him?

Not everyone is as excited as Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) at the prospect of Eric (John McCook) allegedly divorcing Quinn (Rena Sofer).

Not everyone is as excited as Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) at the prospect of Eric (John McCook) allegedly divorcing Quinn (Rena Sofer). She went and got her portrait painted. Just in case.

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was actually kind of mortified by the possibility, and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wanted to know if she was getting yet another new mommy.

When Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) reveals that Eric ripped up the divorce papers, Ridge is likely to be relieved, and Steffy somewhat mollified. Pam (Ally Mills) has already said, ‘Eh, it could be worse.”

But now that Sheila knows the truth, all bets are off.

Lock up the bees. And the Dobermans.
