The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, Monday, June 17: Not-So-Fresh Starts

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, June 17 features a day of new beginnings, old habits, and another round of forgiving Bill. Liam did his duty as the wonderful son he is but made sure to keep his walls up. Bill says he is a changed man. However, they’ve all heard that before.

Emma’s Back
It seems Xander (Adain Bradley) and Zoe (Kiara Barnes) will never learn their lesson and continued talking about the Beth secret openly and in public. This time, it was Emma (Nia Sioux) who overheard. Thankfully, she didn’t hear much.

Daddy Dearest
Meanwhile, a visit from Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill (Don Diamont) got Liam (Scott Clifton) feeling emotional. Bill worked to make amends for the sins of his past and asked his son for forgiveness.

It was a touching moment for everyone involved, especially when the men took a look at each other’s current situations. Liam said being with Katie looked good on Bill and the Spencer CEO said the same about his son with Steffy.

The comment got Liam thinking and he had a short, but powerful, heart to heart with Katie. He said he felt more at home in the cliff house than anywhere but it brought up a lot of guilt. How can he be happy when Hope was still falling apart.

Motherly Advice
Speaking of Hope, she got a talking to from her mom warning her of Thomas’s manipulations. She can see right through her stepson and asked Hope to at least keep her guard up. Men like that keep women down and Hope has already been through enough.

Obsessive Behavior
Unfortunately, Brooke was right. In fact, she had no idea how right she was. Back at the main house, Thomas was becoming more and more unhinged.

He had visions of proposing to Hope and even taking a trip down the aisle. Thomas even turned to Ridge hoping to get his support in sweeping Hope off her feet.
