The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, Monday, July 15: A Moment of Clarity

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, July 15 features another day of Hope fighting off her fiance’s advances. For a split second, she saw Thomas for who he really is instead of who he pretends to be.

I’ll Marry You But Stop
Hope (Annika Noelle) did all the right things to calm Douglas (Henry Joseph Saimiri) and set his mind at ease. There is nothing to fear, Hope is here. She made his day when he showed him the ring an promised to be his new mom.

This all prompted Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) to make another sleazy move. He tried to kiss Hope again and she shut him down again. It was still too soon and she wanted even their wedding night may be too early to become intimate.

Thomas balked but Hope put her foot down. In fact, she even questioned if marrying him was a mistake. It was a moment of true clarity but it was gone just as fast as it came.

Meanwhile, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam (Scott Clifton) had a heart to heart. They talked about their lives as parents and she urged him to open up about his feelings towards Hope.

Liam was distraught by his ex wearing another man’s ring but Steffy gave him some perspective. She and Liam are giving the girls a good life and that’s what Hope is doing for Douglas.

Of course, Liam was not the only one in a snit about the engagement. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was sore about it too. It’s clear Hope does not love Thomas and Brooke cannot stand the thought of her daughter walking down the aisle to marry a manipulator.

Ridge took issue with everything Brooke had to say. His son loves her daughter and they are getting hitched no matter what. It’s time for Brooke to zip her lips and let the kids decide their future. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
