On The Bold and the Beautiful (BB), Bill announced that he would get Brooke. And now he has Brooke — well, for the moment.
Bill also announced that he would get his big, shiny, pretty darn phallic building. But Thomas (Pierson Fodé) threw a monkey wrench into his plans when he whipped out his checkbook and wrote a check for $100,000 to get Sally (Courtney Hope) out of debt.
(Thomas keeps 100K in his checking account? Are those his daily expenses?) But does anyone really expect Bill to back off?
Don’t Count Your Skyscrapers
Bill (Don Diamont) just got outplayed, crow 92% of you. Game over, man! Now that Thomas knows Bill was behind the scathing review that first took Spectra Fashions out of contention, he is never going to let Bill get the upper hand again.
And what about CJ (Mick Cain)? He was willing to sell Bill the building when he thought Spectra had been given a fair chance, but why would he do it now that he knows the guy targeted his family?
Plus, Bill still wants to appear the good guy in Brooke’s eyes. He probably doesn’t need her finding out about what he did. She’d probably run straight to Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to cry about it and… well, we — and Bill — know how that goes.
Don’t Count Bill Out
Then again, Bill isn’t a curl-up-and-die kind of guy, remind the remaining 8%. He has a tendency to keep pushing and pushing. The question is, will he keep pushing even if it might cost him Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)?
Just what is more important to him — the woman he regularly chases across continents, or a building that just… stands there? After all, a building will never betray him, a building will never let him down.
A building won’t insist on changing him or making him someone he’s not. Yeah, it’s starting to sound better and better. Brooke, who?
