Love stories have twists and turns, and breakups and makeups in real life just like they do on soap operas. Just as Rena Sofer, who plays Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful, recently reminded herself and others.
The actress shared on Instagram details about her romance with Sandford Bookstaver, her past and present love. “This guy!!!” Sofer posted on social media showing a photo of herself and Bookstaver from their wedding. “Married me 18 years ago today. I divorced him 4 years ago yesterday. Then he took me back (well, we took each other back) two years ago. And I’ve never been happier!!! I love you @sbookstaver you are my #loml forever!!!”
What does “#lolm” mean? A quick Web search shows that the letters stand for “laugh out loud man,” so we can imagine that the duo shares lots of laughs together! Of course, she could have just as easily meant “love of my life” because it certainly seems to be true!
Sofer and Booksaver, a successful TV director, share a daughter, Avalon Leone Bookstaver, 15. Bartosz Pańczyk posted on Sofer’s Instagram account: “Wow, life is sometimes like soap opera. This love history reminds me about Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) from BB.”
Sofer playfully quipped back: “oh lord I hope not!!!” Given the number of times that Ridge and Brooke have married, broken up, divorced, remarried, and started all over again, we can see Sofer’s point! Sofer prefers to let Quinn play out a soap opera life. Recently, Quinn’s husband Eric (John McCook) welcomed her back into his life unaware that Quinn has been intimate with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) on a couple of occasions.
Carter’s ex-bride-to-be Zoe (Kiara Barnes) nearly caught Carter and Quinn in bed together when she spied women’s clothing on Carter’s bedroom floor. Zoe started to put things together when she spied Quinn’s familiar-looking jacket at Forrester Creations.
Fortunately for Quinn, Shauna (Denise Richards) jumped in and pretended that the jacket was hers. This prompted Zoe to shift her attention to Shauna and away from any other candidate. For now, Quinn’s secret is safe. But how long will that last? The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
