Bold and the Beautiful Star Jennifer Gareis Suffers A Personal Loss

Easter is a time of celebration, but The Bold and the Beautiful star Jennifer Gareis, sadly, had to spend part of the holiday to help usher her children through a passage that every pet lover experiences.

Jennifer Gareis Helps Kids Say Goodbye

“Today was a very bitter-sweet day!” Gareis recently posted on Instagram. “Although we had an amazing time celebrating Easter by decorating eggs, baking & having the most AMAZING Easter Egg Hunt, we also had to say goodbye to Chello. (The kids look pretty sad in the first photo because they were saying their byes to Chello).

“It was difficult to explain to the kids that Chello is now in a better place, in doggie heaven, but I am hoping they found some peace with it. You were a good dog, Chello!,” Gareis adds. “I hope everyone had a wonderful day!! 🥚🥚🥚🥚🐰🐰🐰🐰.”

As you can see in the post below, Gareis’s children, son Gavin, and daughter, Sophia, are seen with their beloved Chello. The actress’s daytime pals weighed in with messages of support on her post. “I am so so sorry! Thinking about all of you!” shared Kate Linder (Esther, The Young and the Restless).

“So sorry sweet girl. Chello is in Heaven waiting for when you meet again. ❤️🙏,” posted Sabryn Genet (ex-Tricia, YR). As Gareis’s fans recall, the actress debuted on YR as Grace Turner in 1997. Her character helped reunite her pal Sharon (Sharon Case) with her long-lost daughter Cassie (Camryn Grimes).

After wrapping up her run as Grace in 2004, Gareis joined BB as Donna, the middle Logan daughter, in 2006. She briefly reprised YR’s Grace for a handful of episodes in 2014.

Gareis’s highlights as Donna include being reunited with her long-lost son Marcus (Texas Battle), sparring with Stephanie (Susan Flannery) after falling for Eric (John McCook) — AKA her “honey bear,” her rivalry with “frenemy” Pam (Alley Mills), and her marriage to Marcus’s dad Justin (Aaron D. Spears).
