Life imitated art recently for The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont, who plays Bill Spencer on the CBS soap. The proud father was excited to announce the tremendous news to his friends and fans.
Don Diamont Welcomes His Future Daughter-In-Law
Earlier this year on the show, Bill’s son Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) popped the question to his girlfriend Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). Now, Diamont is celebrating the news of his real-life son’s engagement.
“It was definitely an eventful week,” Diamont posted on Instagram. “Headlined by Alexander @rednaz_tnomaid and Audrey @aud.feys GETTING ENGAGED! Welcome to the family ‘Blueberry’!!!” The fan favorite adds that there were other family festivities going on, too.
“Before being part of that experience over the weekend, @cindyambuehl [Diamont’s wife, Cindy Ambuehl, ex-Kim, B&B] and I flew to Vegas for @anton_ambuehl’s @unlvfootball’s first game of the season @allegiantstadium on Thursday.” The couple kept heading east to support another son. “Then, it was off to Charlotte bright and early Friday morning for @lucadiamont‘s @dukefootball ‘s first game of the season Friday night! We’re so thankful, grateful and happy for our boys, and future daughter-in-law‼️”

Diamont’s Daytime Pals Cheer Him On
Don Diamont’s daytime pals weighed in with congratulatory messages on his post. “Big big congrats!!!” commented Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), who added three “heart” emojis to her words of support. Pals from The Young and the Restless also shared their enthusiasm over his family news. “Congrats to all,” wrote Lauralee Bell (Christine). Doug Davidson (Paul) posted, “Awesome guys!! congratulations.”
How Y&R’s Brad Became B&B’s Bill
“Wow!!! Fabulous big things happening all around,” commented Beth Maitland (Traci, Y&R). “Well done everyone!!” As Y&R viewers recall, Don Diamont and Maitland were paired together as Brad Carlton and Traci Abbott for years in Genoa City. Shortly before Brad met his tragic end trying to save Noah Newman [then, Kevin Schmidt] who was drowning in an icy lake, he and Traci shared a lovely scene in which he lamented that he let her get away. Diamont wasn’t out of work for long after Brad’s death, as B&B scooped up the actor to play media mogul Bill Spencer, Jr.
