The Bold and the Beautiful star Denise Richards is staying busy in-between visits to Los Angeles as Quinn’s BFF Shauna Fulton. The actress recently began work on a new movie that has a surprising connection to a soap star on another serial.
“#bts first day of shooting…” Richards posted on Instagram, “honored to be in @jensengering very first scene ever!!!! #wickensburg #setlife #onlocation.”
The film Richards is talking about is titled Wickensburg. It’s about a mother and her young son who move to a small town. Soon, they discover the town harbors a dark secret, and there’s a race against time to save the town.
Richards’s co-star in the film is Jensen Gering, the son of Galen Gering, who plays Rafe Hernandez on Days of our Lives. No word yet on who other cast members are. Richards says the film’s company received a very “dear” visitor when an animal showed up on set one morning. “Good morning…” Richards shared on Instagram, “this beauty showed up in the backyard where we’re filming…”
Jensen is getting support from the daytime community as he embarks on this new venture. “Get um ‘ jensen !!!” posted Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin, DAYS), who is pals in real-life with both Richards and Gering, his former DAYS co-star. No word yet on if Jensen will be singing in the film, however, the young actor’s dad posted his son’s musical talent on his Instagram. Check out the post below in which Jensen covers a song titled Let It Go. “I mean, come on!!! Amazing,” enthused Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali, DAYS).
No word on when Wickensburg will be released. In the meantime, continue to watch for Shauna to continue to support her pal Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful. As details become available, Soap Hub will bring them to you!
