For the first few years of her life, she thought Ridge was her dad, which technically would mean she’s a Marone. But she later learned Eric is her dad: That makes her a Forrester through and through. And now, she’s coming back to The Bold and the Beautiful!

Welcome Back, Ashley Jones

We’re talking about Bridget Forrester, of course, played by fan favorite and Emmy nominee Ashley Jones. The actress recently shared on Instagram that she’s back at the BB studios!

“Had the best assistant at work today, but he got slightly confused where we were… so I lowered his fee,” posted Jones, referring to bringing her son, Hayden, with her. “It backfired, though, cause he thought it was GREAT MONEY! swipe to see… and v happy to be here!”

Now, many shows tape at the Television City studios (formerly, CBS Television City), so, is Jones back at BB for sure? If you click right on her post below, you can see that she shows her script cover for an upcoming episode of the half-hour serial so, yes, Bridget is back!

Jones first made the daytime scene in 1997 as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless. She played the role for a few years, marrying Tony (Nick Scotti; Jay Bontatibus).

After his death, Megan faded from the screen. A few years later, Jones screen-tested for Days of our Lives when the show was recasting the role of Billie Reed (Lisa Rina). The part ended up going to Julie Pinson (ex-Eve, Port Charles).

Next, Jones landed the role of Bridget. She played the part until 2010, returning nearly every year since then for Forrester family events. In 2016, Jones was cast as Parker on General Hospital, a college professor whom Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) had developed feelings for. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS.
