Arrested Development! Ridge Is Charged In Bill’s Shooting On The Bold and the Beautiful!

The big question on The Bold and the Beautiful is Who Shot Bill Spencer? And now that query is about to be answered by Bill himself! He comes out of his coma and names the person who pumped lead into him!

According to published reports, Ridge is arrested for shooting Bill. It’s certainly feasible. Ridge has been livid with Bill ever since he discovered that Bill slept with his daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Steffy has maintained that the sex was consensual but Ridge has had blinders on and has insisted that Bill forced himself on his daughter.

After Steffy learns that her dad has been arrested for Bill’s shooting, she wonders if indeed her father could be guilty. Ridge and Steffy had talks where Steffy tried to convince her dad that Bill didn’t get forceful with her, but she knows on some level that Ridge just doesn’t believe her!

The question is do the police believe Bill’s assertion that Ridge shot him? Wasn’t Bill shot from behind? So maybe he wouldn’t have even seen his assailant.

The police will likely keep in mind that Bill and Ridge have a lot of animosity between them and it’s possible that Bill just might be lying to get back at Ridge!

If that’s the case, one has to wonder who truly did shoot Bill. Was it Pam (Alley Mills) after having a psychotic break? Could it have been Rick (Jacob Young) wanting to get even with Bill for writing about Maya’s (Karla Mosley) personal story in his publications?

And let’s not rule out Katie (Heather Tom)! Just because she found the body doesn’t mean she didn’t shoot her ex and then circle back to ‘discover’ his body after the fact!

If Ridge is indeed innocent, the question remains as to whether Bill’s assailant will make another attempt on his life. If that happens when Ridge is in custody, then that just might clear Ridge.
