Are Ridge And Brooke Soulmates On The Bold And The Beautiful?

The Bold and the Beautiful’s Brooke has been obsessed with Ridge since the show premiered over 30 years ago. She’s loved and lost him many times during the soap’s lifespan.

Nowadays, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) is happily wed to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) — but is it ever truly over between Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke?

Soap Hub asked B&B viewers to weigh in on whether or not Ridge and his “Logan” are soulmates, and the results may surprise you!

Who Can Resist Ridge?
Nearly half of you, 47% to be exact voted “‘Bridge’ forever!” in support of the pairing of Brooke and Ridge.

And who can blame this faction? Part of Brooke’s appeal to viewers is that she leads with her heart, and she’s felt connected to Ridge ever since she laid eyes upon him.

Brooke has seen Ridge marry Caroline and Taylor and yet she still believed that it would never be over between her and the Forrester fashion designer. Her belief (no pun intended) turned out to be true.

Ridge and Brooke ended up getting married more than once and she’s given him a son, R.J. But their last trip to the altar was torpedoed after Brooke spied Ridge sharing an intimate moment with Quinn, his stepmother.

Been There, Done That
A little over a third of you, 35% to be precise, responded that Ridge and Brooke are soulmates depending on what week it us. (Ouch!) But nonetheless that’s a fair assessment given the number of times the couple has broken up.

One time, Ridge not only called off his proposal to Brooke (without telling her) but then asked Taylor for her hand in marriage at the climax of a fashion show, humiliating Brooke in the process. Despite these and other roller coaster moments, Ridge and Brooke did find their way back to one another.

Financial Planning
It remains to be seen who Ridge will end up with next, but many of you (17%) voted that you’re perfectly happy with where Brooke is now as Mrs. Bill Spencer, selecting the option “No, she belongs with Dollar Bill.”

The Future Is Uncertain
Ridge and Brooke are bonded by their son R.J. and certainly were united when he recently was in a car accident; had R.J.’s injuries been more severe would Ridge and Brooke found their way back together? Time will tell if other circumstances or fate draw them together once more in the future!
