Vivienne Avant on The Bold and the Beautiful has much to celebrate on-screen as her two TV daughters are happily married. Off-screen, the actress who plays Maya and Nicole’s mom is also in a celebratory mood!
Anna Maria Horsford (Vivienne), who was born in New York City, celebrated her birthday yesterday and made some special wishes.
The veteran actress, who was nominated for a Daytime Emmy last year for her work on B&B, is known to primetime TV viewers for her role as as Thelma on the sitcom Amen and as Dee on the sitcom The Wayans Bros.
Longtime soap fans remember her as Clara, Holly’s prison cellmate on Guiding Light in 1979.
Horsford was also honored with a Daytime Emmy nomination in the category of Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series in 2016 for her role as Vivienne. She’s given powerhouse performances as a matriarch who’s stood by her children and chastised her husband for not accepting their transgender daughter.
The actress tweeted out a photo of her in her “birthday suit” at the beginning of the month in honor of her special day.
