On soaps, it’s pretty easy to determine when a pregnant character will give birth. Stalled elevators and blizzards are usually an indication that contractions will start. In real-life, however, it’s not as predictable! That’s what Adrienne Frantz of The Bold and the Beautiful is finding out!
At press time, the Emmy-winner, who is expecting her second child any day now, is on baby alert. She recently tweeted that her and husband Scott Bailey’s (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light) daughter, Amélie, 4, is all set to become a big sister! The tweet came with a video of her little girl asking the baby to come out.
“How we are feeling this morning!” Frantz posted. “We can’t wait for this baby to break out! Lots of love waiting for you baby! #abouttopop #havingababy #baby.”
Frantz first popped onto the soap scene as Tiffany on Sunset Beach in 1997 as an original cast member of the Aaron Spelling-produced daytime serial. She switched over to another soap set in sunny southern California — BB — later the same year. After mixing it up with the Forresters and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) for a while, Amber relocated over to The Young and the Restless where she penned Katherine Chancellor’s memoir – I’m Going to Live Till I Die.
Later, Frantz did another stint on BB where Amber gave birth to a daughter, Rosie, fathered by Marcus (Texas Battle).
Bailey played Sandy on GL from 2003-2006. At first, it was believed that Sandy was Reva’s (Kim Zimmer) son Jonathan, but he turned out to be a phony. (Tom Pelphrey turned out to be the true Jonathan).
Amélie and her soon-to-be-born sibling aren’t Frantz and Bailey’s only joint productions. The two are set to star in the upcoming film, Poster Seller, which tells the story of a bootlegger who sells counterfeits memorabilia. Doug Maguire is the film’s director and producer. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
