Adrienne Frantz Facts: Longtime CBS Soaps Veteran

Adrienne Frantz is best known for starring as Amber Moore on The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. But Frantz also appeared on Sunset Beach as Tiffany Thorne.

Who Is Adrienne Frantz?

Frantz was born on June 7 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, which is also where she was raised. Her parents divorced when she was 12. She started taking theater, singing, and dance lessons when she was very young and moved to New York when she was 16 to follow her dreams. She attended high school in Medford, New Jersey.

While she was a little girl growing up in Michigan, Frantz started to sing the national anthem at public events to practice her singing. In fact, she performed the anthem at a number of professional sports games in her area, including a Detroit Pistons basketball game.

Wanted To Pursue Other Passions
Frantz landed her role as Amber Moore on The Bold and the Beautiful back in 1997, but has been on and off the show a few times and has also taken Amber to The Young and the Restless when needed. During one break, she pursued her music career, releasing an album, Anomaly, in 2007.

Frantz found a stray cat and followed the advice of her CBS lot neighbor, former Price is Right host Bob Barker, who famously preached that you should spay or neuter your pet. Well, as it turned out, the cat, Puck, was a purebred Savannah — some of which have sold for as much as $47,000. Frantz lamented the cat could have made a lot as a stud for breeding.

Frantz previously dated the frontman of the Goo Goo Dolls, Johnny Rzeznik. She started dating former Guiding Light star Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy) in 2010. The couple has a daughter named Amélie Irene, who was born on December 1, 2015.
