On both The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, as Amber, Adrienne Frantz faced many heavy dramas, often involving children. The Daytime Emmy winner recently shared what she was going through in real-life with her nephew Orion.
“Can I please get prayers for my little nephew Orion Savory!” Frantz posted in the middle of December. “He is in ICU for some reason he stopped breathing! He was born a week ago and is really fighting for his life right now! #prayers #babyinicu.”
Five days later, Frantz posted an encouraging update: “Your prayers are working!” Frantz shared. “Thank you so much! He is still in the hospital but getting stronger every day! Life sends us so many crazy turns along the way. Sometimes it just jolts you so you realize the only things that really matter are the people you love! #babyinhospital #baby #nephew.”
On Christmas Day, Frantz’s mother, Vicki, posted an update on Facebook with even more great news! “So my baby great-nephew Orion is a Christmas Miracle and got to go HOME today!” Vicki shared. “His Auntie Rochelle Savory went to Chile and brought him a breathing monitor from the US so he could finally go home! Thanks for all the prayers! They worked! Merry Christmas!”
Also on Christmas Day, Frantz posted an uplifting message, along with a photo of her daughter, Amelie, as Princess Leia, and her son, Lion, as Yoda.
“To all of those that are feeling sad or lonely this Christmas may the force be with you!” Frantz shared. “We have all had such a terrible weird year! It has brought everyone down at some point. The looming dread of not knowing what was going to happen. Birthdays and holidays dimmed by the corona cloud.
“I almost lost my life a few months ago,” Frantz continued. “It has really affected me physically and emotionally. Sorry friends if I have been weird or distant. This year has taken its toll on all of us! Just added to 2020! But I have a beautiful baby boy who is 6 months old now! (At least something great came out of this year!)
“Remember, ‘No man is a failure who has friends!’” Frantz posted, quoting Mark Twain. “You are not alone! Find someone to talk to if you need to! We are all in this together! Merry Christmas my friends! I love you all!!! May your next year be filled with all you wished for this year!!! #2020 #maytheforcebewithyou #merrychristmas #youarenotalone #itsawonderfullife #mentalhealth #happybirthdayjesus #lightattheendofthetunnel.”
Might Amber make a return visit to BB or YR? The character has come and gone before. Stay tuned to see what happens!
