CBS will honor heroes who’ve served in the armed forces and gold-star military families in its “Tuesdays of Honor” campaign. The initiative sees the network, NCIS, and Lovesac partner with VIZIO to provide family room comfort upgrades. The veterans and families who will be featured on-air and on social media were selected through TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) and Team Rubicon, two trusted veteran service organizations.

When does Tuesdays of Honor start on CBS?

“Tuesdays of Honor” is tied to CBS’s new NCIS Tuesdays block, which kicks off on October 14 at 8 p.m. ET with the season 23 premiere of the flagship series. The three-hour slate of programs includes NCIS, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney.

Each week, the network will spotlight a veteran or military family, such as Antoinette Raines, a U.S. Air Force veteran and volunteer with Team Rubicon, and family members of fallen U.S. Army hero Sgt. Luis Lopez (his wife, Sandra, and daughter Jasmine Lopez).

The eight honorees will receive a family room upgrade that includes the Snugg couch from Lovesac and a VIZIO TV. They’ll be featured during the NCIS block, on the network’s social channels, and by cast members from the franchise like Wilmer Valderrama (Nick Torres) and Caleb Foote (Bernard “Randy” Randolf)

CBS has dubbed its Tuesday primetime lineup the destination for loyalty, action, and heart. “Tuesdays of Honor” builds on the NCIS franchise’s tradition of honoring veterans and military families. This campaign is CBS’s way of giving back to service members and their loved ones who have sacrificed for America.

A special Veteran’s Day crossover event, airing on November 11, is also part of this campaign’s salute to service. It will see the flagship and Gibbs’ prequel series share a storyline that encompasses a decades-long mystery.

NCIS Tuesdays launch October 14. Next day streaming for all three shows will be available on Paramount+.
