Smith Makes A Decision
Aside from being a well-known ESPN commentator and playing Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) security expert Brick on GH, Smith has become a notable name in politics. Often appearing on shows like The View and Cuomo to discuss his political stances, the TV personality and actor revealed he’d been asked by several people if he would run for president.
After recently making a splash in the headlines for considering a 2028 presidential run, Smith has put the possibility to bed. During the debut episode of the Hang Out with Sean Hannity podcast on March 10, host Sean Hannity said he “didn’t think” Smith was running. Smith admitted, ” “I don’t think I’m running either. Because I got to give up my money…I ain’t giving up my money.”
Smith did, however, revealed who he would support in the 2028 presidential run: Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Governor Wes Moore, or Governor Josh Shapiro.
