There are few soap actors who have no problem showing off their quirky sense of humor the way General Hospital star James Patrick Stuart does. He has also apparently found a new hobby and his co-stars have become the ‘victims’ of it.
James Patrick Stuart Gets Creative
Perhaps spurred on by William deVry taking some interesting selfies this weekend and tagging Stuart in them, the actor decided to take some pictures himself… but have even more fun.
On Monday, when Josh Swickard unveiled his new bearded look before heading back to work (as GH readied to return to the set), we got to take a trip back in time to the late 1970s.
“@josh_swickard, you look great, man. Also, I have Photoshop now,” Stuart tweeted along with a pic of the 1970s band The Doobie Brothers with a bearded Swickard featured as part of the band.
But he wasn’t finished there and Swickard got to become yet another 70s icon when Stuart switched to Instagram and posted a pic of the actor who plays Harrison Chase as Barry Gibb, the lead singer for The Bee Gees.
On Tuesday, Stuart took on deVry and made him into yet another icon from decades gone by. While many may not remember the teen magazine called Dynamite, Soap Hub does and we were tickled pink to see the actor took a cover of Dynamite featuring the actors from CHiPs, and turned deVry into Jon, partner of Ponch.
Jon was played by Larry Wilcox and Ponch was played by Erik Estrada. While Estrada is still on Stuart’s version of this cover, it got a whole new look with deVry’s The Bold and the Beautiful look (where he played Storm Logan) as Jon.
We can’t wait to see what Stuart comes up with next, but we really can’t wait to see all these men back on our GH screens with NEW stories and hopefully that is coming very soon. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
