Update on L.A. Wildfires

Firefighters have been tirelessly battling the wildfires that destroyed homes and killed 24 people, reports The Associated Press. Unfortunately, dangerous winds could return and cause more fires from Monday into Wednesday. Communities have come together during this time.

Celebrities and soap stars use social media to share how their followers can help. The fires have hurt more than just L.A.’s iconic landmarks and celebrity homes. It’s also impacted the lives of ordinary people. Los Angeles is known for its rich diversity. There are communities of Black families, where many own homes.
