It has happened yet again: Popular soap star Eric Braeden has an impersonator on social media and he’s warning fans about him.
The legendary star of The Young and the Restless took to Twitter over the weekend to warn his followers about another account that was pretending to be him online.
“Just know that @ebraeden12 is NOT MY ACCOUNT,” he shared. After that, several followers tweeted their support of the actor, knowing he’s an original but a couple stated their disappointment because they were happy to think that their favorite actor had followed them.
Braeden answered several of them back to personally thank them for their support but then the number of responses became overwhelming, it seemed.
The handsome actor is hardly the first one to be a victim of this kind of scam. Soap vet Rick Hearst, Days of Our Lives stars Tyler Christopher (Stefan) and Stephen Nichols (Steve), General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan), The Bold and the Beautiful’s John McCook (Eric), and Y&R stars Kristoff St. John (Neil), Daniel Goddard (Cane) have also been impersonated.

In the meantime, Braeden has been on a vacation the last several weeks in Europe and looks to be returning to work soon. He tweeted co-star Melissa Ordway, who plays his daughter Abby, “Have a great weekend! See you, hopefully, next week!❤️❤️❤️”
