If You Wrote The Soaps…Would You Write Them For Us?

Is there ever a time when you don’t want to re-write at least one story on your favorite soap? You know in your head you can do it better and dream up scenarios you know work with the character and show history better than you see onscreen.

But, you’re in your living room and do not have the connections or experience to write your soaps the way you see fit–so why not write your own version just to make you happy?

That’s where fan fiction comes in. Fan fic, as it’s also known, has been around for decades, with early sites like FollyWorld (based on Guiding Light) and Another World Today blazing the path for others to try their hands at writing their own soap straight onto the Internet.

So, we ask if that’s something you want to do. Whether it’s an old soap you want to bring back to life or just a “better” version of a current soap, Soap Hub wants to offer you the opportunity to take the characters you know so well and do with them what you please.
