Daytime Emmys
All four daytime soaps went to battle Friday night at the 46th Annual Creative Arts Daytime Emmys — and all of your favorite dramas, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days Of Our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless, walked home as winners!
It was also quite the star-studded event that kicked off the celebratory Daytime Emmys weekend, where all of daytime comes out to honor the industry.
YR scored five awards; DAYS was awarded three; BB earned two, and GH won one. Here are the awards each show won:
YR: Outstanding Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design for a Drama Series; Outstanding Lighting Direction for a Drama Series; Outstanding Live and Direct to Tape Sound Mixing for a Drama Series; Outstanding Costume Design for a Drama Series; Outstanding Hairstyling for a Drama Series
DAYS: Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series; Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Drama Series; Outstanding Makeup for a Drama Series
BB: Outstanding Technical Team for a Drama Series; Outstanding Original Song (“You’re the One”)
GH: Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing for a Drama Series
