You’ll Never Guess What These Soap Stars Have In Common!

At first look, aside from being soap stars on General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and Days of Our Lives (DOOL), these three lovely ladies don’t appear to have anything readily noticeable in common.

However, they do share something, and it’s super important!

Rebecca Herbst

This actress originated the role of beloved GH nurse Elizabeth Webber in 1997. As a child, she competed as a figure skater, but as an adult, she made the fateful decision to pursue acting.

This mother of three also loves to design clothes, and Herbst designed most of her own Daytime Emmy dresses where she’s walked the red carpet twice as a nominee.

Beth Maitland

Beth Maitland portrays the wise Traci Abbott on Y&R. She began her acting career at an early age, and by 13, she’d already appeared in several community theater productions in Scottsdale, Arizona.

In addition to her Y&R recurring duties, she also does radio plays, voice over work, and appears with the Santa Clarita Playhouse.

Vanessa Williams

Although this stunning DOOL actress shares the same name as a popular singer, she’s certainly earned her own claim to fame! You may recognize her from primetime hits like The Cosby Show, Law & Order, and Melrose Place. Plus, this mother of two talented sons also has numerous film credits.

In Salem, Williams portrays the talented cardiologist Dr. Valerie Grant where she’s recently rekindled her romance with Abe Carver (James Reynolds).

The Answer Is….

So, what do these beautiful daytime darlings Rebecca Herbst, Beth Maitland, and Vanessa Williams have in common? Only the absolute MOST important thing. They were EACH born on May 12 in 1997, 1958, and 1968 respectively.
